Nothing is worse than trying to clean up egg spills and it’s worse if they land on your carpet. You need to clean that up right away or the egg will dry and be impossible to completely remove.
- Get as much of the egg up that you can using a spatula or spoon.
- Use a mixture of warm water, dish detergent and 2 Tablespoons of white vinegar for a cleaning solution.
- Apply cleaning solution to the egg spill and use a paper towel to blot the area up until dry.
- Repeat until egg stain is completely gone.
This should do the trick! Remember to keep white vinegar on hand for these types of spills, it’s the best. Blue Dawn Detergent can bleach out some carpets though, so keep another dish detergent on hand just in case of these types of spills.
